How to use the digital sensor (VT-DS)?

How to use the Laser Mouse VT-LM?

How to use annotation software?

How to use other laser devices?

The sensor (VT-DS) can be mounted on a mini tripod (VT-TP) included, or on any standard camera tripod.

The sensor can be clipped on top of a notebook PC.

The sensor can be mounted upside down on a ceiling.

When positioning the sensor, the distance between the screen and the sensor must be approximately twice the width of the projected image.
For best results, the sensor should be positioned within 15° from the centerline.

After installing the setup software (see User's Manual), open View Touch icon to select the proper settings.

The setup window shows what the sensor sees. Adjust the sensor position to make sure the entire displayed image is covered by the sensor.
.
Avoid bright spots appearing on the screen image, whether caused by nearby lamps, light fixtures, light from the projector, or other sources of strong light in the room. Otherwise the sensor will become ‘fixated’ on it, causing the cursor to ‘stick’ to the bright spot. To free your cursor, simply block the digital light sensor. Then adjust the angle of the projector, or dim the room lights, or move lamps until the bright spot is removed.

Run calibration.  Use mouse to click on the cross points in the order of a green dot on the left side.
.
Check the accuracy by pointing laser to the screen and see if mouse cursor matches to the position of laser light. Recalibrate if necessary. If you need to reposition the sensor, press “Reset” button.
.
Multi-touch option: If you use Windows 7, you can click “Enable Multi” button to enable the multi touch capabilities with multiple laser pointers. Note: The speed level will drop when the multi touch is enabled.
